We aim to help all our members achieve financial health. We try to help people get on top of their finances by encouraging them to save money when they can, and we lend to them at affordable rates when they need to borrow.
We operate under the same rules and regulations as any other bank. But unlike high street banks, we are a cooperative, owned by our members and run for their benefit.
We work in the local communities around Wiltshire and in Swindon. You are welcome to visit us in our main office in Cavendish Square, Swindon, or at a community point around the county. We run budgeting courses to help you make the most of your money, and will always try to help you find ways through your financial difficulties.
How does PrizeSaver work?
It’s simple. When you save with PrizeSaver, every £1 in your account (up to £200) is a chance to win and boost your savings.
Participating members will be entered into the monthly draw with savers in other credit unions. The main prize is £5000, and there are 20 other prizes every month. There is nothing else to do: just save a bit each month (or put in the full £200) and we will let you know if you’re a winner!
We automatically give all members a PrizeSaver account as well as their Shares account. It’s ready for you to add some savings to it. Once you have the £5 minimum in your shares account, this is the first place for additional savings. You can add to the account by transfer from your shares account, or by regular contribution, for example from salary payments.
